Before I got into photography, the Mohonk Preserve and surrounding areas used to be my hiking grounds. I used to spend all day climbing in the Shawangunk Mountains and do 10 mile hikes in Minnewaska State Park. Sunday’s return to the area had brought back plenty of nostalgic memories, even if it was a new area of the preserve for me.
We parked at the Spring Farm Trailhead just past the Mohonk Mountain House and decided to hike to the summit of the Bonticou Crag. Word cannot describe the hike, so I’ll just leave you the photos to enjoy.
