Photos from 10-08-10 & 10-09-10 – Vassar Farm

If only all hikes can have this much diversity.  For roughly seven total hours between Friday and Saturday, I explored nearly every corner of Vassar Farm to see what I could find.  While most of the birds didn’t vocalize or anything, sitting around and watching for movement in the bushes and trees was the way to go.  It’s not like I am an expert at bird calls (yet) anyways. 😛

I hope everyone enjoys this gallery.  I am particularly proud of this one, because it really showcases many of our fall visitors.  It is also the largest gallery to date at 24 photos, including the White-Throated Sparrow featured here.
