Our short hike around Bowdoin Park last Saturday produced some pretty interesting wildlife opportunities. Aside from the bald eagles, which I have more photos of in this gallery, we also found a garter snake resting on an old car door on the purple trail.
One thing that I was surprised to hear and find so frequently back there were rose-breasted grosbeaks. I probably counted around twelve or so, despite getting just a single photo. I may have to explore this spot again early in the morning one weekend to see what else lives there.
What I didn’t mention in previous posts was that I also photographed a juvenile bald eagle before spotting the adult, which is also included in this post. So exciting! 🙂
