I finally finished going through my photos from Kennebunkport and Wells, Maine. The final gallery from our trip was from the Wells National Estuarine Research Reserve, just a few minutes from where we stayed. It features woodlands, fields, salt marshes, and a beach to hike through.
With a fresh layer of snow and a layer of thermals, my wife and I hiked several miles and took plenty of photos along the way. My wife took the scenery photos, while I took the wildlife shots. The bald eagle and surf scoter were the bird highlights of the hike.
After this, I return to our regular local programming (until another trip, that is). Enjoy the photos! 🙂
