In the short amount of time that I was there, I got some decent shots of a variety of butterflies and birds, including one butterfly I don’t see very often – a common ringlet.
Another notable sighting included a question mark butterfly. I usually find them with their wings wide open, so I was happy to get some photos from underneath. From there, you can clearly see the identifier that gives them their name – a question mark! Well, an inverted one at least. I provided a close-up of the marking in the gallery.
