Last Friday, I was looking through a Dutchess County brochure I picked up at a kiosk a while back and spotted an advertisement that piqued my interest – Wing’s Castle in Millbrook, New York.
The story around this castle is quite interesting too. The castle, still a work in progress after 40+ years, is the creation of Peter & Toni Ann Wing. Believe it or not, a majority of it consists of recycled materials!
My wife and I took a tour ($12 per person) and not only was the outside of the castle quite a marvel, but the antiques contained within were just as interesting. The castle also has a beautiful view overlooking the Millbrook Winery and various mountains. For more information on the touring schedule, be sure to visit the Wing’s Castle website. My photo gallery from the day is a click away.
