On Labor Day weekend, my wife and I decided to go to Saugerties for a day. We picked a few places to stop, including the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve. It was the first time we’ve ever visited the area.
Despite the weather being very overcast and difficult to photograph wildlife, we still enjoyed our time there. On several occasions, we came into several mixed flocks of birds foraging, including woodpeckers, warblers and other species. Wildlife photos will be included in a different gallery, so for now, please enjoy some of the scenery. 🙂
