What a day to be outside! With the sunny shining and a light breeze, I headed down to New Rochelle to enjoy a company BBQ for the afternoon.
Always on the hunt for places to take photographs, I did a quick search for nearby parks. Once the party was over, we drove to Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. We only spent around 30 minutes, but I knew I’d likely be back sooner rather than later.
I did photograph a couple of gulls, from the extremely common ring-billed gull to the gargantuan great black-backed gull. Guess what I didn’t see… sandpipers. Elusive little buggers this fall!
