So, this was a first time for me… back in January of this year. Now that I’ve tightened up my process for photo editing, I can churn out posts much more quickly. Who knows, maybe I’ll get caught up to present day! Until then, enjoy the flashbacks!
So this year, in an effort to maximize our time in Connecticut, we found a relatively inexpensive place to stay minutes from several birding spots. Driving a total of 4-5 hours in a single day and hiking from dawn to dusk in between that is tough, so we spend the night.
During this particular trip at Milford Point, we ended up seeing a pair of gadwalls out on the ocean, along with many other ducks. The gadwalls though, were a new sighting for me, so I did my best to photograph. This was the best of the lot! 🙂
